For those who are camping at the Above & Beyond Weekender at the Gorge, we’ve compiled a must-have packing list for you! From the most experienced campers to the GLAMpers, we’ve tried to include items for everyone.

Hydration Essentials

It’s going to be hot at the Gorge! It’s the middle of summer, and there’s not much shade at the amphitheater. So staying hydrated should be a top priority. But nothing’s worse than needing to get water in the middle of an awesome set. So make sure to get yourself hydration pack to quench your thirst! If you don’t want to carry a backpack, you can also get a fanny pack that has a water bottle holder. The HAISSKY brand is the one that we personally use and it’s great when you don’t want something hanging on your body.

Self Cooling

I will personally be sporting this battery powered clip-on fan. It’s actually the size of a football so it gives pretty good wind power. PLUS, you have the option of plugging it into an USB port/portable battery to make it last longer.

Anti-Theft

While at a music festival, or any type of public event, your sure to be surrounded by some of the most amazing PLUR people in the world! Unfortunately there are also people that prey on that, and take advantage of amazing events. There will always be pick-pocketers, so its best to use some form of anti-theft device on your phone, or even bring a “burner” phone. Fanny packs are great for storing you I.D., credit card, cash and gum. It’s a good idea to keep your ID/Cards separate from you phone, as phones tend to be the biggest target.
